| The first year of college was good, I suppose. New experience, new people, and now I miss it dearly. I finished the Spring semester with a 3.65 which means that I have a 3.55 for my first year--I'm pround.
Summers been.. alright. Went to Colorado for a week and a half. It is by far as close to heaven as you can get, on Earth. My uncle, aunt, and two cousins came up the last two days. It was good seeing--the annual event that it is; however in that short time I nearly decapitated the a few young girls (my cousins). They are the most spoild/protected brats. Don't get me wrong, I love them, but seriously.
We returned home to where I started summer school: Speech and Gov't (2301). That has been hell. Speech is suppose to be easy; I am not suppose to write a paper every night, including one six page assignment where I analyize my own non-verbal communication.. lay-haym! Then Gov't had me panicing. There are two short research papers and two test--that's it. One the my first paper and test I got and average of a 73. I just got back my second paper today, which was an A and took the final which I must say I raped--quite well in-fact. I am no on a break from school, I don't want to be too burned out before I start my super sweet Comm. Des. classes! I'm going to learn how to draw letters and numbers, how freaking cool!
I do miss Denton, I have to admit but I have been catching up with some friends and making weak friendships stronger. It has been wonderful seeing Mallory often, and much more of Cody and Enrico. I have even hung out with good 'ole Gamm, my Pokemon partner. The other night a large group of us went up to Jasmine's and then Wataburger. The final total was about 14 of us and it was awesome. I don't really have a good group of friends, I just have a couple really close friends and that night was really needed.
I have started to do action shoots which totally kicks ass. I have actually only done it once, but it paid well and was extremely fun. Darren is lending me his super sweet EOS-1 Mark II (look it up if you care) and lenses and all. Next week I start a eleven day tour. in Farmers Branch. It will be an awesome experience and good money.
I turn 20 next Tuseday. It's a little strange I suppose, 20--no longer a "teen." What am I doing for my birthday you ask--working at Pizza Getti why of course (no hard feelings Kyle.. dick-head).
I am moving in my house in just about 3 weeks--how awesome is that! Four great guys and one badass house, nothing more you could ask for. I do miss Denton though. I miss Denton Bible a lot and I can tell I need a strong home, again. I plan on becoming a member and taking the class when I get up there perminatly. I can tell that I have missed a home like that and the support of my awesome roommate (Graham), and new roommates (Justin, David, JD). I can tell that I have slipped in serveral aspects of my walk and there is no excuse. I was reading often for a while then school just got in the way and then another excuse and a few more took over to where I have gone a week without even opening my bible. I miss Denton. With school and all I have also not had much time to
come up there and hang out with friends up there or be with Hil. But this month may be good
because I have no more school and she has no more kids. Things are looking good.
Things around here, my home, have been.. tense, awkward, and uncomfortable and will be for a little while. It is not my business to tell the reality of what is going on/the situation but I do ask that you keep my family in your prayers. I do apperciate them as does my family.
Leave me comments--I'm a whore I do confess!

| I swear that there should be a law illegalizing 18-wheels in the left lane. Seriously, they are not going anywhere quick and just slow me down.
So yes, I am offically a Communication Design major, I will see most of you in 3 years. I kid. I have heard all of the "horror" stories out there about the program and yet I still cannot wait to get into the action. I asume this is how I know that I enjoy it.
On another note, I believe that I am going to get baptised on the 18th. Denton Bible is doing a baptismal of the College Life collegans who have not done it, was sprinkled and do not remember, or just would like to profess their faith again. There has really been nothing holding me back on the matter of baptism; I just have no done it. I do not even believe that it has to deal with laziness. I just have not done it.
I really enjoy my job at TSS. Seriously, I have shoots during the week, work a max of 2-3 hours and make $50. Complaints? No. Last weekend was a long weekend however, 12+ hours of little kids and soccer balls. For the most part it was not bad at all. We where in Allen which is usually the worst shoot, but it was really smooth. Everything was on time and we actually had breaks. Today was a 10 hour day in Lewisville, had it times of rush due to the ridiculous unorganization of the YMCA. Teams would be 30+ minutes late and then have the guts to complain to us to "hurry up" so they are not late to their game. There was this one kid; flat out the most snobish, stuck up little fart you have ever laid eyes one. I was 7 seconds away from bashing his knees into the "rought, ant covered" glass and tell him enough, but believed it to be in my best interest to refrain.
I hate this semester. It sucks. I am taking class that boooooooooore me. They are just dead wait, my ball and chain. I just want to be in Type..
I have finished a book called The Cheese Monkeys by Chip Kidd. I recommend it, highly. It is definatly weird, but very good. I want to finish The Da Vinci Code but have to reread Fahrenheit 451 for a research paper.. Sucks. I am so sick of papers..
I did get a new pair jeans (For those who do not really know me, I reallllllly like jeans.) They are a pair of True Religion Joey jeans. They are really stinking cool with a twisted inseam and the flaps on the pockets. Yes they are girl jeans, so what.:

I also just bought a pair of Diesel ZAF 796's too. I will show you later. I know you can't wait.
Tonight my Community Group met our Sister Group.. finally. It is kind of irrotating that John (my leader) did not let us me them sooner than the last 6 weeks of the year. We barely have any time to get to know them too.. it sucks, but to night was fun. Full of pizza, water, Dr. Pepper, laughing, Balderdash (spelling), talking, edification, and how many inside jokes. I wish we met them last semester..
This next week is going to be crazy busy: Sunday: church, working on paper Monday: working on paper Tuse: working on paper, Mavs game that night. Wed: Job interview in Dallas with Southwest Securities, Dermatoligost appointment, eye appointment Thurs: Phanton of the Opera with the pretties girl on earth Friday: free.. Sat: Work in the morning at TSS.
phew..
Yeah so my dad seems to have hooked me up with a kick-a summer job at the new company he works for: Southwest Securities. I will be a annoying tellamarketer but to other companys, not residents. It will be a good summer job. $12 and hour with 32 hours weeks. This will help greatly with saving for a Apple laptop, a camera for work (possibly), and rent for next year. I can't wait to move into that house..
Did you all hear the news, that I got Hil tickets to see The Phantom of the Opera for our 3 year? Am I awesome or am I awesome? seriously. I hope I enjoy it; sterotypically guys don't enjoy that kind of stuff but I will see Thursday night. It made her happy though, that face and giddy thing happened. Girls just have that way..
Anywho.. I am really enjoying life right now. God has blessed me with a healthy body, wonderful friends, and a great.. life. A little bored at the moment just sitting in my room.
Good day lads/lad-ies
